TELUS to launch BlackBerry Bold 9700 in November

20091020-rim1021photo1px800Earlier today Rogers and Bell announced they both will be releasing the BlackBerry Bold 9700. Rogers stated they will have theirs available “in the coming weeks” for $299.99 on a 3-year contract. Bell was quiet on the price but revealed a November launch date.

Not one to be left out of all the fun, we got confirmation today that TELUS will have the Bold 9700 in their lineup also with a November launch date (one of many new devices on their new network). When it comes to pricing or an exact launch date, we were told “additional information about pricing and availability will be shared in the coming weeks”.

The Bold 9700 has a full QWERTY keyboard with the new trackpad, has overall dimensions of 9mm x 60mm x 14.1mm and weighs in at 122 grams. The screen size is 2.44 inches with a resolution of 480 x 360. Other features are the built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, zoom and video capabilities, This can hold up to 32GB with a microSD card.

Rogers and Bell are both adding a 2GB microSD card and one can only assume that TELUS will be doing the same.
