Video: Wind Mobile Nokia 5230 Hardware Review

Wind Mobile will be adding a new touchscreen device to their lineup – a much needed addition. After months of being in the market they are set to release the Nokia 5230. We got hold of one of these and did a quick unboxing a hardware review.

The 5230 has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display (resolution of 640 x 360) with accelerometer and only weighs a light 115 grams. You’ll notice on the front of the device are buttons for the call, menus and send keys, plus earpiece, proximity sensor and quick access to all your media (music, pics, videos, internet). On the left hand side is the SIM card and microSD slot (can hold up to 16GB). Located on the top is the 3.5 mm headset jack, power button, charger and USB connector. The right hand side is the volume rocker and quick access to the 2 megapixel camera. The back of the device is extremely glossy, this is also where the camera is located (no flash). The 5230 comes with a lanyard for you to hold on to your device, but similar to the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic it’s looks like a guitar pic. In addition, inside the box you’ll get a USB to microUSB, wall charger and earphones. Pretty standard contents.

We’ll go into more detail of the 5230 with a full review soon…
