911 Fee increasing May 20th for Saskatchewan Virgin Mobile customers

Virgin has sent out a message that their members located in Saskatchewan will be seeing a slight increase in their monthly bill starting on May 20th. The reason is once again the 911 Fee. Virgin states that “As of May 20, 2010, the regulated monthly provincial fee for the funding of the 911 service for Virgin Mobile Members in Saskatchewan will change from 38¢ to 62¢. Just a heads-up, this change has been made by the Government of Saskatchewan and not by Virgin Mobile. We’re required to collect the fee and pass it on to the Government of Saskatchewan.”

Virgin only charges the 911 Fee in the following provinces: Saskatchewan, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and PEI.
