Bell expands HSPA+ reach into Saskatchewan and Northern Quebec


Residents of Saskatchewan must be happy with the new speeds available to them. Last week SaskTel announced their new 3G+ network, yesterday TELUS and now Bell has come out with news that they’ve also expanded into Saskatchewan. Customers will be able to get HSPA+ phones, smartphone and internet sticks. According to the internal doc we received, the HSPA+ network build-out was in partnership with SaskTel and covers the areas listed below with full province-wide coverage expected to be completed by the winter of 2011.

Bell Saskatchewan HSPA+ coverage:
Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, Yorkton, Swift Current, Prince Albert, North Battleford, Buffalo Pound, White City, Melville, Dalmeny, Martensville, Warman, Hepburn, Waldheim and most of the connecting highways.

In addition, Bell has also extended HSPA+ coverage into Northern Quebec (Télébec region) that includes: Ville Marie, Val d’Or, Temiscaming, Amos, Rouyn-Noranda, La Sarre.
