Black’s Photo App coming to iPhone and BlackBerry this week, Android in October

A month ago we let you know that TELUS’ Black’s Photo was going to be releasing an app that will make it easier to upload and print your pics. Good news as as of this week iPhone and BlackBerry owners will be able to download the free app. Also, the app will be available to Android owners mid-October.

According to the press release today the Black’s Photo app is a “way to manage, share, store and print photos, allowing users to immediately share their memories with friends, family and colleagues, rather than sending them at a later time when the moment has passed. Customers can use the Black’s Photo app’s GPS feature to locate and map out the nearest Black’s store, and send photos directly from their smart phones to a printer at any store location across Canada.”

Sounds good. Unfortunately there are no screenshots of the actual app in action to show you. These will be available sometime this week.
