A couple pieces of Mobility news today. First off is that they have a contest called “FMyBill” where you have a chance to win 1 of 100 BlackBerry Curve smartphones and six months of service on their unlimited $65 plan. All you have to do is tell them your mobile phone bill horror story. Each prize is worth $749.99 so this bring the total contest value to a stellar $74.999. The contest starts today and ends on November 8th. Reading over the terms and conditions to be eligible for the contest you must be a legal resident of Canada residing in areas codes 416, 647, 905, 365, 289, 613, 343, 604, 778, 403 and 587 (excluding Quebec). So the other launch cities are coming up soon… You can find more about this via their Facebook page here.
Next is a new device. Not as exciting as the upcoming Nexus One, but certainly will be a good addition to their lineup. The LG Wink will be making an appearance in the November time frame. Price points are expected to be in the $100 range. As for specs of the Wink… this comes with a 2.4-inch touchscreen (240 x 320), 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio and holds up to 4GB with a microSD card.
More soon… but for now that contest looks good.
