We just posted an update to the “State of Android In Canada” and received an e-mail from TELUS about a few updates to some of their Android devices. According to James Bishop, Manager, Product Marketing; TELUS Consumer Solutions says that those users who have the following devices will be getting Android OS 2.2 shortly:
Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate: early this winter – Android 2.2
LG Shine Plus: early this winter – Android 2.2
Motorola Milestone: this winter – Android 2.2
Samsung Galaxy Apollo: this winter – Android 2.2
So there you have it… no firm dates but a commitment within the next few weeks.
