Concept Phone: “Voim” Braille Smartphone

Here’s another concept design, this time is a Braille Smartphone. This design was created by Youngseong Kim & Eunsol Yeom and is called “Voim” which is “seeing” in Korean. All the important features are embedded into the device such as route navigation, word recognition and object identification. Once in use the information is collected its relayed back to the user and displayed on the silicon screen and communicated via Bluetooth. Isn’t it about time that a manufacturer truly helps out the those with vision loss other than pre-loading devices with Nuance’s TALKS software.
