When Rogers released the Dell Streak they also stated that the upgrade from the current Android OS 1.6 to 2.2 will happen “later this year”. If you’ve purchased this tablet/phone device then you be happy to know that Rogers is currently testing OS 2.2. A note by Chris from the Rogers Social Media team in our Forum said that “The 2.2 update for the Dell Streak is currently being tested on our network. We’re hoping to get it out by Spring 2011.”
