The Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA) has announced that 14.2 billion person-to-person text messages were sent in Q3 2010, bringing the total for the first 9 months of 2010 to 40 billion. They highlighted September stats that showed 163.1 million texts per day (this number has also increased from 154 million per day in June).
