“Recycle My Cell Challenge” brings in almost 4,000 wireless devices


Remember that “Recycle My Cell Challenge” that launched back in October? This was a contest that included 70 schools from six provinces to compete against each other to see who can recycle the most wireless devices and accessories. The totals are in and almost 4,000 wireless devices were collected and close to 200 kilograms of batteries/accessories were brought in.

The winning schools in each province will receive a cash donation that will be put towards the school’s green initiatives. Plus each school will be getting one Smartphone which the Principle will give to a student who showed outstanding leadership.
