Samsung was teasing the world that “something big is coming” and “the next evolution of Samsung Mobile” will appear on February 13th. This is when they’ll be in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress and make their upcoming handset/tablet announcements. Last week another video of one mysterious handset hit the web, then a couple days later specs leaked out of the Samsung Galaxy S 2.
However, it looks like the “something big is coming” has already arrived. Korean website MovePlayer posted an article with pics/specs of the Galaxy S 2. The second generation of the Galaxy S looks familiar in style but is thinner at 8.49mm (the Galaxy S is 9.9mm). In addition, the Galaxy S 2 runs Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread, has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1GHz dual-core processor, WiFi and weighs only 116 grams.
