This is the first sketch of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell


This is a fascinating image. At one point in time the sketch above was just a concept like all the other concept designs we see nowadays. However, that sketch turned into what we know today as the telephone. The Library of Congress has put several images belonging to Alexander Graham Bell into a digitized format for everyone to see on the web. Bell successfully made the first voice call on March 10th, 1876… and 135 years later the concept is booming, connecting people worldwide and raking in massive dollars for major corporations around the globe.
