The Future Shop iPhone app was release last August and has been downloaded over 260,000 times. The Canadian retailer has pumped out an update that has some new features. Version 2.0 now includes the ability to instantly scan barcodes and QR codes, search for products by location (map stores via GPS), check stock levels (in-store and online), save products to favourites, include your rating and a faster check out process. The app is free and is also available on the iPad and the iPod Touch.
