“Canada’s fastest phone” has officially been launched by TELUS. The Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 4G runs Android OS 2.2 and will be upgraded to to 2.3 sometime over the next few months. The Fascinate 4G has a 4-inch display, 1GHz processor, can potentially reach “download speeds of up to 21 Mbps” (we’ll post a bunch of speed tests shortly), Wi-Fi and can created a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 6 devices and has 5 megapixel camera that records 720p HD videos and VGA front-facing camera (video quality test here). The price points range from $99.99 on a 3-year to $529.99 no-term.
