Virgin knocks BlackBerry Pearl 3G down to $150 outright

The BlackBerry Pearl was the device of choice at one time for those entering the smartphone world, RIM sold millions of these worldwide. Smartphones have evolved, people have become familiar with the QWERTY keyboard and desire bigger screens. For example, the Curve 3G and various Android devices are what’s becoming entry level smartphones (usually costing around the $200 mark). As for the beloved Peal, Canadian carriers have started to reduce stock and slash its price and ends its life. Virgin is the latest carrier to do so by dropping it to a very respectable $149.99 outright, which is still one heck of a deal.
