Robert Shoesmith from now on will be known as the guy who’ll line up well over a month for the unannounced iPhone 5. The UK man is on a mission and has started a blog which will record his daily adventures. He’s doing it for a couple reasons: to hopefully score himself an iPhone 5 before anyone else does and to get as much free PR for his app company MEDL Mobile. He’s yet to start his squatting expedition he’s but has already been given a bunch of free candy, power chargers, Skype handed over a free webcam. Shoesmith stated on his blog that “A recent surge of inspiration led me to the idea of camping outside an Apple Store for the iPhone 5 and asking companies to help make my wait a luxurious one.”
There are several reports that indicate the new iPhone 5 will be coming out late September or even in October… but Apple has to officially announce it first. Shoesmith could be waiting a long time.
