Bell set to release the HTC Raider 4G LTE


This all but sums up the rumour of the HTC Raider, aka Holiday, coming to multiple Canadian carriers. We posted earlier that this Android 2.3 Gingerbread device was launching with Rogers, but now we can also confirm the Raider 4G LTE device is heading towards Bell. This will be Bell’s first LTE device (the other is the LG Eye) and when you’re not in the LTE coverage you’ll fall back to their HSPA+ 42Mbps network. As for price points, the upcoming flyer from Bell’s retail outlet The Source states it’ll be $169.95 on a 3-year and a wicked $499.95 no-term price.

The Raider will takes its place in Bell’s “Superphone” category and has a 4.5-inch qHD touchscreen display (resolution of 540 x 960), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0, 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel camera that records 1080p HD videos, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, 1,620mAh battery and Wi-Fi.
