TELUS confirms Galaxy S II X (Hercules) OS 4.0 upgrade will be “available in 2012”

This is a good sign for the TELUS Samsung Galaxy S II X, aka the “Hercules”. They’ve added a simple line on their site that speaks volumes – confirmation that this Android 2.3.5 powered device will receive an upgrade to the anticipated OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Timing is vague and unclear, but it’ll be “available in 2012”. At the very latest it’s only 13 months away…
