Rogers on Demand coming to Xbox 360 this month

As we reported in September, Rogers is getting really friendly with Xbox. While not mobile per se, we like posting cool new stuff in the Canadian technology market, and the Xbox 360 is one of the most popular gaming consoles of all time. Rogers on Demand is partnering with Microsoft to bring Rogers on Demand content to the Xbox dashboard in time for the holiday season.

Content will include popular TV shows like Mad Men, and assorted movies and children’s shows. Selections from CityTV and CBC will also be available. One of the cooler aspects of the integration is that there will be extensive Kinect gesture support, though we’re not sure how practical it will be in practice.

According to Rogers, On Demand content will be available only to those with a Xbox Live Gold membership as well as a Rogers On Demand account. If you are a post-paid Rogers mobile, TV or internet subscriber, however, ROD is free to use. Video of the service after the break.
