How does the BlackBerry Torch 10000 sound to you?

In the past there has been the BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9810, Curve 9300 – all four digit model number devices. With RIM announcing that the upcoming BlackBerry 10 smartphones will now arrive “in the latter part of 2012” we have some time to speculate on what’s next. Rumours have pointed towards 5 devices: London, Lisbon, Milan, Nevada and Black Forest. Now, possibly adding to the fun, is this leaked screenshot from handset-insurer Asurion.  Apparently this is their device database and shows a product under the BlackBerry category with a familiar name plus a new model number: BlackBerry Torch 10000. This could very well be the full touchscreen London that was leaked online a couple months back – hopefully, if true, it’s not another version of the QWERTY-slider Torch 9800 or 9810.

“The latter part of 2012” is so far away from today… it’ll be interesting to see what RIM does to market these next generation of devices to the masses. Do you like the sound of the 10000?
