LTE-powered Nokia Lumia 900 leaked in virtual holiday card

We know the Windows Phone-powered Nokia Lumia 800 is coming to Canada, at least in some form, but now there is word of a LTE-powered Lumia 900 launching in the States in early January. However, according to Microsoft guru Paul Thurrott, a form of that device known by its codename Ace, is likely launching in multiple regions next year. Can we expect it in Canada? Considering we are one of the first countries with national LTE coverage, the likelihood is probably high.

The 900 is expected to be slightly larger than the 3.7″ Lumia 800, with a 4- or 4.3-inch OLED display but the same gorgeous polycarbonate body we love. In addition to the same 1.4Ghz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM and a 8MP back camera with Carl Zeis optics, the Lumia 900 looks to have a front-facing camera, an addition sorely missed on the 800. It should also be the first device released running Windows Phone Tango, the upcoming update to Mango.

We’ll likely hear more about the Nokia Lumia 900, if it called as such, at CES but right now we know it’s being released on AT&T, which is good news since they are using the same HSPA+/LTE bands as Rogers and Bell.

Here’s hoping!
