HTC Ville shows its lithe self once again on camera

The HTC Ville is pretty well a shoe-in for a MWC debut. Last week we showed you a video walkthrough of the phone, and now all we need to figure out now is what really sets it apart from the previous crop of HTC devices released in 2011.

From the get-go we have a slim 8.9mm profile, HTC’s thinnest phone to date, but the rest of the specs seem decidely last-year, including a 1.5Ghz dual-core MSM8260 Snapdragon processor and a 8MP camera. For a display we have a 4.3″ qHD AMOLED display, much like that of the Motorola RAZR. We’ve also heard that it will be coming to T-Mobile in the US, increasing the likelihood of it arriving at Wind, Mobilicity or Videotron sometime later this year.

What will separate the Ville from the pack is Android 4.0 running Sense 4.0, but that software will be coming to the Sensation, EVO 3D, Amaze and Raider sometime this year. When HTC announces the Ville at its MWC press conference on February 26th, you can be sure they’ll have some tricks up their sleeves — including the quad-core HTC Endeavour.
