CyanogenMOD 9 nightly builds now available for LG Optimus LTE

Update: This build is not compatible with the TELUS Optimus LTE, so please don’t try to use it. Sorry for the misinformation.

The ever-enterprising CyanogenMOD team has just put live its first nightly build of the Ice Cream Sandwich-based CM9 for the Bell LG Optimus LTE.

At this point we’re not sure what is and isn’t working yet, though curator  is claiming that most things should be in order. There may be a few outlying bugs, but they will likely get resolved in the coming weeks. At the very least, you’ll be running Android 4.0.3 which means the latest Google apps and none of the bloatware from the original Gingerbread ROM.

You’ll have to be rooted and running ClockworkMOD recovery, which can easily be flashed by installing ROM Manager. If you are running an Optimus LTE and wish to get on the ICS train without waiting for LG, head on over to CyanogenMOD and install away.
