Angry Birds, Burn the Rope and 4 other games now $0.99 in the Windows Phone Marketplace


When the Windows Phone Marketplace crossed over the 70,000 app mark the stats showed that about 12% were paid apps (8,031), many of which are the most popular. The Marketplace is continuing to increase the number of available apps, now sitting around 80,000, and to sell more they’ve announced some price cuts to various titles. On their blog Microsoft’s Michael Stroh says he’s “calling all bargain hunters” to score these Xbox LIVE games, but doesn’t give an insight into when the prices will increase.
