Bell releasing the 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U330 on April 25th (2,600 Mhz LTE spectrum)

A few weeks we were given an insight into Bell’s 2,600 Mhz LTE spectrum. The device they used to demonstrate the speeds was the Sierra Wireless 330U Turbo Stick, a follow up to the 313U. Download speeds clocked in at an average of 100 Mbps, plus upload speeds reached 41-43 Mbps. The “peak download speeds” of this 2,600 Mhz spectrum could potentially reach 150 Mbps.

Good news as we’ve been informed that Bell will be releasing the Sierra Wireless U330 on April 25th, which would mean that they’ll also launch the 2,600 Mhz LTE spectrum, too. This has the same design style as the 313U, just faster and can also hold up to 32GB with a microSD card. The price will be $199.99 on 30-day term and when you’re out of the LTE coverage you’ll fall back to their 42Mbps HSPA+ network.

We’ll have more info soon.
