Update: Apple’s WWDC starts June 11th, “It’s the week we’ve all been waiting for”

Apple has just sent out a press release that their World Wide Developers conference will be happening on June 11th in San Francisco. Hopefully this is where they will unveil the new iPhone, or possibly the nano iPhone, or iPad mini. The conference will be 5 days and we’ll hear about the “latest innovations, features and capabilities of iOS” and probably the latest App Store stats. The tickets will sell out fast and they are going for $1599 USD.

Philip Schiller, Apple’s SVP of Worldwide Marketing stated that “We have a great WWDC planned this year and can’t wait to share the latest news about iOS and OS X Mountain Lion with developers. The iOS platform has created an entirely new industry with fantastic opportunities for developers across the country and around the world.”

Update: Tickets are now sold out. It took less than 2 hours.

“It’s the week we’ve all been waiting for” and you can check out the full list of activities at the WWDC link here.
