Motorola MOTOLUXE launching in Canada sometime “in Q2”

Looks like those screenshots we posted last week were indeed correct. The Motorola MOTOLUXE is coming to Canada and will be available sometime “in Q2.” There’s no carrier listed in the press release, but we posted that this Android powered device should be hitting both Bell and Virgin. Moto states that the Motoluxe “keeps you entertained and connected with a dynamic new interface that learns what you like and adapts to help you do tasks faster.” The Motoluxe runs Moto Switch 2.0 and OS 2.3, no word on if it’ll be upgraded to OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. As for other specs, it comes with a 4-inch display that has a resolution of 480 x 854, 800Mhz processor, 1 GB ROM, 512 MB RAM and an 8 MP camera.

David Petrou, sales director, Motorola Mobility Canada, said “With its stylish design and media features, MOTOLUXE is the perfect smartphone to complement our busy lives. Not only does MOTOLUXE have the power of Android, it also has a fun, adaptive and easy-to-use user interface, a big vibrant screen and a sharp camera to help you capture your everyday life.”

No indication of a price was revealed.
