Temple Run for Android update fixes Ice Cream Sandwich incompatibility

Temple Run is one of those games that, seemingly harmless at first, gets under your skin and doesn’t let go. It’s the kind of addictive that makes you shake your head before leaving the house muttering, “One more time!”

But many members of the 4.9% have been left out in the cold as Temple Run had some pretty serious issues on some Ice Cream Sandwich devices. While I have had no issue staying addicted to playing the game on both the Galaxy Nexus and HTC One X, there were some serious slowdown problems on both devices which caused screen touches to not register. These issues, plus a few more, have been squashed by Imangi Studios.

The full change log is below:

1) Fixed many compatibility issues with Android 4.x ICS devices
2) Fixed bug that caused low resolution textures to be used on high DPI devices
3) General bug fixes and improvements
