CBC TV for iOS got a huge update a few days ago, bringing it to version 3.0. What was once an iPad-only affair is now compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch, and the Commission added AirPlay support to boot, allowing you to stream your favourite CBC television shows to an Apple TV (or Mountain Lion-equipped MacBook as of next month).
The app also shows the latest CBC schedule, which includes shows like “Heartland, Dragons’ Den, Republic of Doyle, Best Recipes Ever, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Rick Mercer Report and more”.
If you’re into CBC (despite their non-renewal of Jeopardy, I still love them) and don’t have access to a television, give the app a try.
