Bell’s Push-to-talk BlackBerry and Android app updated

Bell has been really consistent with the app updates for their PTT (push-to-talk) network. The app is currently limited to a couple BlackBerry devices (Curve 9360 and the Bold 9900), and one Android device (Samsung Galaxy S II), but more will be added to the list, namely LTE-enabled handsets. If you’re hooked up to the Bell PTT network and have this app you might notice an update has been pushed through for both BlackBerry and Android.

BlackBerry has been bumped up to version 7.1.0.26 and fixes the audio clipping and re-registration issues that users were complaining about. As for the Android update, version 7.1.1.66 can now be yours and this brings fixes the app from freezing up, plus Bluetooth usage is now supported and the in-call volume control is now resolved.
