HTC One X Plus gets benchmarked with 1.7Ghz Tegra 3+

Remember the rumoured HTC One X Plus that may come to WIND and Mobilicity in the coming months? The device has been benchmarked on NenaMark2 and it looks to be a serious contender for one of the fastest devices on the market.

Current Tegra 3 devices run between 1.3 and 1.6Ghz depending on how many cores are activated so the Tegra 3+, which is inside the HTC PM63100, runs quite a bit faster. The device, which is rumoured to launch in September on T-Mobile, will be compatible with 42Mbps HSPA+ networks and may have a pentaband baseband.

Besides having a deadly-fast quad-core processor, the One X Plus is being tested with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and has the same gorgeous 1280×720 Super LCD 2 screen. This also means that Jelly Bean will be coming to existing One X devices sooner than later.
