Flipboard for Android updated with in-app hints and performance improvements

Flipboard for Android has become the quintessential news reader for millions of people, and, along with Instagram, has closed the gap on the “iOS divide.” It’s also a gorgeous, functional and useful piece of software, and its recent update brings a few performance improvements, bug fixes and some requisite feature additions.

The company has added “in-app hints that expose helpful functionality” to acclimatize new users to the app. They’ve also made the Google Reader experience a bit more intuitive, something I appreciate as I use the app for that purpose.
