HTC announces the entry-level Desire X


HTC has officially announced another addition to the Desire family of devices. The Desire X is a cross between the One V and the One X, but slimmed down in specs. This entry-level Android leaked online last week and here’s the rundown: runs OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.1, 4-inch super LCD WVGA display (800×480 resolution), 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 5MP camera that has the same features found in the One series devices (4GB’s of internal storage and also gives you 25GB of free Dropbox storage for 2-years, and Beats Audio.

There’s no word on a Canadian launch, but the Desire X will be released in “selected markets across EMEA and Asia Pacific from September 2012.”
