32GB Nexus 7 and Galaxy Nexus 2 coming?

The latest rumour floating around the web is courtesy of the Carphone Warehouse in the UK. Their inventory system potentially shows two upcoming desired Android devices – the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2 and the Google Nexus 7 packing 32GB of storage.

The Nexus 7 tablet currently comes in a 8GB and 16GB flavours, previous rumours suggested that we’ll eventually see a 3G version sometime mid-October, but nothing pointed toward a bump up gigs. If true, the increase could be to compete against other competing 7-inch tablets such as the Kindle Fire, Kobo’s upcoming Android arc tablet, or even Apple’s rumoured iPad mini. As for the Nexus 2 – no other word on this but the inventory system shows a screen protector by Invisible Shield and could very well be another SKU for a second-gen accessory, not a new device.

Google is rumoured to release up to 5 Nexus devices this year. We’ve already seen the Nexus 7, Nexus Q and the other manufacturers that are expected to release a Nexus-branded smartphones are Samsung and LG.
