Sony C6502 “Odin” to be released in 2013, runs Android OS 4.1.1

Not that we’re unhappy with what Sony has produced since dropping the Sony Ericsson brand, but next year is looking promising for Xperia fans. Sony Mobile will be dropping their ST/MT/LT naming scheme and going the route of numbers. According to the User-Agent Profile (UAProf), Sony is cooking up some serious Android Jelly Bean devices in 2013, potentially with a Xperia flagship device that currently has the codenamed of “Odin.” The UAProf shows a string of three model numbers – C6502, C6503 and C6506 – with the firmware listed as 10.1.A.0.XXX. The C6502 shows “en-us” so you can most likely count on this version hitting Canadian shores. There’s no word on additional specs or launch dates.
