Acer Iconia Tab A110 now available for $200 (7-inch quad-core tablet, runs Jelly Bean)

Tablet wars are heating up. iPad mini, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, and Acer has jumped into the ring with their latest 7-inch tablet. The Iconia Tab A110 is now available in Canada. While Google just discontinued the 8GB Nexus 7, this might be a good replacement.

The specs are competitive to other 7-inch Android tablets: runs Android OS 4.1 Jelly Bean, 7-inch display (resolution of 1024 x 600), NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 2MP front-facing camera, HDMI, 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage (can hold up to 32GB with a microSD card).

When Acer announced us Canadians would be getting the A110 they stated the pricing would be “at $229.99 USD and CAD”. Thankfully time has passed and seems like it’s already priced dropped to $199.99 at Future Shop.
