Sony has made good on their promise to bring the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to the Xperia U. If you have this entry-level Android then you can go forth and get the update via PC Companion – but it seems like this could be the last one. Sony recently listed the devices that are on tap to receive Jelly Bean and the Xperia U didn’t make the cut. However, there’s hope as Sony noted “We are still evaluating potential upgrades for Xperia U smartphones and will be back with more information shortly.”
In the meantime, enjoy Ice Cream Sandwich.
