Indigo starts selling the 32GB Nexus 7, hopefully won’t cannibalize sales of the Arc

Within a couple weeks Indigo will make their Android-powered Arc tablet available to the masses. This will directly compete with all the other 7-inchers on the market, specifically the iPad mini, Nexus 7 and the BlackBerry PlayBook. The arc runs Ice Cream Sandwich (will receive an upgrade to Jelly Bean) and is price competitively at $199.99 for the 16GB, $249.99 for the 32GB, and $299.99 for the 64GB.

Indigo is not the first place I think about buying technology, but they announced today that they’ve started selling the 32GB Nexus 7 tablet ($269.99) online and in-stores. Indigo proudly stated that “We’re excited to add a premium device like the Nexus 7 to our suite of popular devices. With the Nexus 7 we continue to offer Canadians affordable and sought-after gift ideas in time for the Holidays.”

Good for Canadians to have more choice of where to purchase a Nexus 7, but this move might possibly hurt future sales of the arc.
