HTC Deluxe leak promises 1080p Android for the international market

With the Droid DNA being announced this week for Verizon, it was only a matter of time before HTC’s massive 5-inch 1080p device was going to make its way to other parts of the world. It already exists in Japan as the Butterfly J, and according to this leaked press shot by reliable Twitter source @evleaks, the next-gen quad-core device will come to Canada, and elsewhere, as the HTC Deluxe.

While the name may not sound appropriately grandiose, there’s no doubt that it will be a pretty incredible device when it debuts on our fair shores. With a 1.5Ghz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip, an Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP camera with ImageSense capabilities, a 2020mAh integrated battery, NFC and all the sensor fixin’s, along with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4+, the Deluxe is going to be a beast of a phone. Then there’s the 440ppi 1920×1080 pixel Super LCD3 screen, which stands to be the sharpest on the market.

We’d expect the Deluxe to show itself publicly under another name — perhaps Super Deluxe (kidding) — but when it does show itself, you can be your boots it’s going to be one heck of a smartphone.
