TELUS will carry the Samsung Galaxy Camera

Samsung is poised to release the Galaxy Camera on December 7th. It’ll be hitting various retail locations, including Black’s Photography. TELUS purchased Black’s a couple years back and this marriage finally makes sense. They’ll start selling the 16MP camera with 4G connectivity at their locations for an unknown price, probably somewhere around the $500 outright price. In addition, according to an internal doc we received, TELUS’ website will also sell the Android device and the “device is only available to activate on a tablet rate plan.”

The Galaxy Camera comes rocking Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, has a 1Ghz quad-core processor and a 4.8-inch display – everything but the phone capabilities.
