Sony Xperia Z is water resistant and has a “Skeleton frame structure”

Additional pictures have surfaced online of Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z. This is the 5-inch Android that packs a quad-core processor and a 13MP camera. According to a post on XperiaBlog they note a few more features on the flagship – apparently it’ll be water resistant (similar to the Xperia S Tablet), the “fast capture” camera will sport HDR (High dynamic range) capabilities for your pics and videos, a “Full HD Reality display”, and the craftsmanship of the Xperia Z body is a “Skeleton frame structure”.

Sony’s CES press conference is happening on January 7th and will most likely be officially revealing the Xperia Z. We’ll bring you all the details and hands-on. No word on prices or carrier launches.
