God of Blades comes to Android with a killer soundtrack and plenty of swagger

There’s one certainty to owning an Android device: there are many great apps and games available, but you often end up waiting for them to be ported from iOS. It’s just the nature of the game and while waits are shortening, they’re still there.

One such convert is God of Blades, a hack-and-slash sidescroller-runner-hybrid with an abundance of swagger, a killer 70’s synth soundtrack and two nameless protagonists (The Nameless King and The Whispering Lady), each with huge blades and lots of skillz. The iOS version debuted in September 2012, so this one has been a long time coming.

It’s neither a complicated trope nor a particularly difficult game, but it’s in the presentation that God of Blades succeeds. It’s also cheap at $1.01CDN, so give it a try.
