TELUS’ LTE coverage now reaches 24 million Canadians, officially goes live in Saint John

Late last week we let you know that TELUS’ LTE network popped up in Saint John, N.B. According to a press release today TELUS has officially flipped the switch on in the area. The coverage in St. John looks to encompass the core, but TELUS lists “future” plans to expand LTE into Rothesay and other locations. Average download speeds should be between 12 to 25 Mbps.

In addition, this expansion brings their LTE network coverage to reach “nearly 70 per cent of the Canadian population,” which is now “more than 24 million Canadian customers.”
