Twitter 4.0 for Android was released last week to great fanfare and acclaim, but its new design heralded a couple nasty bugs. Users who would navigate to the newly-beautified ‘Me’ profile page were often met with a perpetually-white loading screen that could only be fixed by force closing the app and reopening it.
Luckily, Twitter was aware of this issue, as it has released version 4.0.1 to fix the loading bug. Also of import is that the company saw fit to remove the unnecessary and distracting virtual menu button from the bottom of the screen when using the HTC One.
Not a big update, but a well-received one.
