Swype for Android finally available on Google Play, costs $1.02

Swype, one of the most popular keyboard apps on Android, has shed its beta tag and is now available to download on Google Play.

Nuance, the company that purchased Swype in 2011, claims over 250 million users and the price has been set at $1.02 (CDN). This is a “limited time offer” and there’s no word on how long it’ll stay that price so you might want to download it. Its main competitor, SwiftKey, is priced slightly higher at $3.99 (CDN). Everything that was in the beta version is now included into the official 1.5.0.15186 version – which is good for Android devices running OS 2.2 and higher.
