Imgur Beta app for Android now available to Canadians

Canadian fans of the popular service Imgur, a site which bills itself as the go-to destination for viral images, have cause to rejoice. The app’s beta was first released in Australia, then the United Kingdom, and now the official Imgur app for Android has finally been made available to us.

The free app brings users the ability to do pretty much everything they can on the Imgur website, such as:
– Browse the most viral images on the web
– Vote, favourite, and comment on images
– Upload images straight from your phone
– Manage your Imgur account
– Submit images directly to the Imgur gallery
– Share images to Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, & Tumblr

The app requires Android OS 2.1 or higher, and it’s currently up to version 0.0.13. Imgur is looking for feedback before going live with the official version.
