Images of Sony’s next flagship Android smartphone has leaked online. The Sony Xperia i1 Honami will most likely be unveiled this September during IFA in Berlin, but the press renderings give us some insight into what Sony is prepping for.

The design is similar to the Xperia Z, which was just announced to be coming to Bell this month, as it reportedly has a 5-inch full HD Triluminous display, 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 3,000mAh battery, plus the now Sony standard IP57 water resistant certification.

One of the highlights for the Xperia i1 will be the camera as it’ll sport a 20.7MP ExmorRS sensor that allows for improved image quality, especially in low-light conditions. This will also have what Sony is calling the “G-Lens” – which is a ‘unique optical design technology and quality control for exceptional optical performance on par with the best optical lenses in the industry.” This will rival competing manufacturers with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom (16MP) and the Nokia Lumia 1020 (41MP).
