The Motorola Moto X was officially unveiled yesterday and the new flagship device will be coming to Canada via Rogers. As expected, the Android-powered 4.2.2 Jelly Bean device has deep integration with Google – say “OK, Google Now” to access all the touchless controls. Other notable specs include a 4.7-inch 720p display, 1.7Ghz dual-core X8 processor, 2GB of RAM, LTE enabled, 16GB internal storage and a 2200mAh battery.

Rogers will be launching the Moto X in black and white this month and started taking online reservations yesterday. Big box retailer Best Buy has stated the Moto X is ‘coming soon’ and have started to take pre-orders. As usual, customers will have to reserve in-store and drop down $50. The no-term cost is still unknown, but the 2-year will be $189.99.
