TELUS employees to start iOS 7 training on September 17th

Apple’s announcement of the next iPhone is expected to happen this coming Tuesday, September 10th. There’s been many rumours of what the specs of the 5S might include – namely a 4-inch display, A7 chip, 8MP camera and a fingerprint sensor, but we’ll have to wait and see what Apple officially unveils.

On September 10th we’ll also hear when the official release date of iOS 7 will happen. Apple previously stated this overhauled OS will be available to all sometime this Fall. A hint that the OS is exiting beta is from an internal TELUS doc showing employee iOS 7 training is imminent. According to the screenshot we received it shows that employees can choose between iOS 7 training webinars for either Tuesday, September 17th or Thursday, September 19th – which continues to give more credence to the rumoured launch dates of September 20th for the iPhone 5C (probably not coming to Canada), and the iPhone 5S on September 27th.

The doc reads “This fall, Apple will be introducing the new and highly anticipated redesigned iOS 7. With over 200 new features, it is impossible to cover them all. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these key design and feature upgrades to better assist you with positioning iOS 7 to your customers.”

We’ll have more info soon…
